Product Architect (m/f/d)

Role description:
As part of our expansion, we are launching a new production site in Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal, in the summer of 2025. We are looking for a creative and experienced Product Architect to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will work closely with our German development team and actively contribute to international product development.
The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a self-driven and structured way in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
- Transform requirements into reality - Analyze, define, and align product requirements with Product Management and key stakeholders
- Architect the future - Design system architectures and guide product development from first concept to series production, working closely with specialist departments
- Drive milestone achievement - Define clear deliverables for each development phase, ensuring progress stays on track
- Maintain quality standards - Review and approve implemented requirements with attention to detail
- Navigate complex decisions - Evaluate solution alternatives and provide expert guidance to support strategic decision-making
- Manage product lifecycle - Oversee and manage product releases throughout the complete product lifecycle
- Cross-functional collaboration - Work seamlessly with Measurement & Electronics, Embedded Firmware, and App Development teams

Your profile:
- A university degree in Technical areas such as Computer Science, Microsystems Engineering or a similar field
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role as a Product Architect
- Ideally, you have worked in an industrial environment, preferably in Research & Development (R&D)
- Very good communication skills in English (required); Portuguese is a plus
- You work in a self-driven and structured way and enjoy communicating across departments
- You can explain complex technical topics clearly – even to colleagues without a technical background – and you’re confident in discussions and decision-making processes
